Introduction:
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure console access requires a qualified user. This post we explains OCI User Creation steps. A new user will be created from root user and from root tenancy.
Log into the Oracle Cloud and navigate to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) console. To know more about Login to OCI Click Here.
Steps to Login :
1. Login to OCI Console Dashboard
2. Go to Top Left Menu Section
Use the top left Menu and got to Identity – Users using Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) console.
Identity Menu section will show all existing users. User is created into selected compartment.
Fill the Pop up window with Name, Description, Email and Tag. Now Click on Create to create user.
User Creation Completed. New user oracle is created now.
Click on Create Group and provide the Name, Description and Tag
Add Users
to a group
Use the top left Menu and got to Identity à Groups in Cloud
Infrastructure (OCI) console.
Go to group DBAccess and Add users to group
Select the user name from the drop down list and click add.
Users have been added to Group Members
Tenancy Details
You can create a user and approve .
Change the password and now you should be able to login using the username and pwd
At this moment you donot have permission to “Create Bucket”. Admin has to give access to bucket.
User is created with the appropriate group access. New OCI User is able to access the account. New user now access the compartment to work on Core OCI Services.
